She is also very sensitive to the costs of hiring a lawyer and is efficient and transparent in her work. She believes that clients facing a personal or family crisis should not have the additional stress of exorbitant legal fees. Me Cohene offers clients a tailored, flexible and personal experience at a reasonable rate.

Me Cohene began practicing as a Family, Personal and Estate Lawyer in 2013 at the largest independent law firm in Quebec. There, she developed a wealth of knowledge and experience, and worked on files with varying degrees of complexity, including cross-border disputes. She also gained invaluable experience pleading before the courts, including the Court of Appeal.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Me Cohene worked with children and obtained a Bachelor of Education and a Master's in Educational Administration at McGill University. She taught at both the elementary and high school levels in Montreal over a period of approximately 5 years. Me Cohene has a strong understanding of children's needs and developmental stages, which serves her well in any custody dispute.

Me Cohene studied civil and common law at McGill University and graduated in the top 10% of her class. During her studies, she interned with the Center for Legal Information on Aging and developed a keen interest in protecting the rights of vulnerable persons, including older adults. Upon graduating law school, Me Cohene was awarded the I.M.E. prize in commercial law, the Gerald S. Tritt Q.C. prize in special contracts, the Osler, Hoskin, and Harcourt prize in corporate and commercial law and the Yoine Goldstein Prize in bankruptcy & insolvency. She also received the Scott-Rappaport Family Entrance Scholarship (Law).
